Some old flip flops lying around in the backyard in Trinidad (image processed a bit to look even older and worn). In the city at least most yards are concrete but people keep a lot of flowers and plants in gardens and pots. Right about now it would be nice to be able to be in shorts and flip flops.
The content itself is nothing special, I just liked the composition. But the subject matter does have some significance. My daughter was just old enough to hold a camera and take pictures. She really loved to take pictures of people’s feet. When we looked at the pictures afterwards there were a lot of feet. Those pictures, and their point of view, inspired me to look down as well for this photo.
